What We Collect

When you sign up for the ChemStitch beta waitlist, we collect your email address. When you use the app during beta, we store:

• Your email address (for authentication and communication)
• Chemical structures and documents you create (stored in your private cloud account)
• Usage metadata (login timestamps, feature usage counts — no structure data)

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve the ChemStitch service
• To send you beta access invitations and important service updates
• To understand how the product is used (aggregate, anonymized usage patterns)

We do not sell your data. We do not share your chemical structures with anyone.

API Keys

If you provide your own AI API key (OpenAI or Anthropic), it is encrypted using AES-256-GCM and stored securely. Your API key is only used to make AI requests on your behalf and is never shared.

Data Storage

Your data is stored in a managed database with encryption at rest. All connections use TLS encryption in transit.

Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing support@chemstitch.ai. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
